Derek Landy visit

Today the some of our year 6 and 7 students got the opportunity to go and listen to Derek Landy talk at Wellesley School. Derek is an Irish authour and very well-known for his series of books called ‘Skulduggery Pleasant’.
Derek was a fantastically funny speaker who kept the audience entertained for half an hour. He had us all laughing from the beginning until the end.
The students who took a book along to get signed also received a pack of game cards. The library was also given some great prizes. Sue is running a competition to win a great prize pack that includes a t-shirt and other super prizes!
To win the prize pack you must write an amazing recount about going to Wellesley to hear Derek speak. GOOD LUCK!!
